Our "Havuz" room went through several stages and functioned in various ways within the centuries. Once being carved as a cave-stable, it was later on returned into a a big open-fire-place (tandir) kitchen. This originally 100% cave-room part wise collapsed centuries ago and was filled up with rubble, so we only found out that it has existed this way once we excavated and cleaned the place.

for a couple of years we used this empty space as a little pool / pond (havuz) before we return it into a room again and added a new facade and an en suite bathroom. The big "tandir" fireplace in the ground could still be accessible via a big wooden lid. Even the old niches and troughs can be imagined as we tried to keep a much from the old cave structure as possible.
