AHIR
Unique cave room on the bottom of the Fairy Chimney. 3 single beds and turkish style sitting area with open fireplace. Privat bathroom outside. (Price for 2 people 55 Euro)
This is one of the few existing winterrooms of the traditional Cappadocian farmers in Göreme. Once upon the time people and animals used to live together in one room to keep warm. A lower level had been used as the stable, while the upper living area with a nicely decored open fireplace was used for peoples living. You can still see the feeding troughs hewn out of the rock wall. Even some of the loops, where once cows, horses and donkeys had been tied on, are still beeing visable.
We restored this 100 % cave-room now equiped with underfloor radiation heating and 3 single beds. The private bathroom of this room is a few steps across the courtyard because of technical reasons. The room does not have a spectacular long distance view but opens to a lovely courtyard and skyviews.
